John invited members to come out to Patton Park to watch some games from May until late June or July.

Next week our guest speaker will be David Mobley with details on the Great River Honor Flights which is part of a national organization that flies World War Two veterans to see their memorial in Washington, DC. (If you know of any World War Two veteran, please ask them to come as a guest for this program)
We're in the process of contacting booster sponsors for our 61st annual Pancake Day on April 22. Sign up sheets for workers was passed around again and there's several spots still available for everything from making pancakes and sausage to ticket takers and clean up crews. There are three WIU fraternities that will be helping out this year. April 12 is the deadline for sponsors to get their names on the place mats that will be at every table.
President Debbie Vandemark announced that she has received a letter from George Hermann stating that he will be unable to coordinate the Kiwanis Junior Olympics that takes place in May. Debbie said that Jeff Paisley and Mike Pritchard are among those who have agreed to help out. They will be working with WIU on setting a date and getting the word out to local schools.
A committee has been formed to nominate new officers and directors for next year. They will have the first reading in a few weeks.
It was announced that the Kiwanis District Office has selected Macomb as a new location for leadership education to be offered in July. This is the mandatory Kiwanis training for incoming officers and we will be looking for a location and working with the I-I District in getting this organized.
