President Debbie Vandemark presided and Owen Thompson provided the invocation.
Debbie thanked Hassan Espahbodi for making the arrangements for a successful "Shopping with Santa" experience last Saturday at K-Mart. We took nearly 40 children shopping, gave them $25 to spend on gifts for their families and helped them wrap them all up before taking them home. Special thanks to Citizens Bank for being our co-sponsor and to the staff at K-Mart. Thanks to all the members and volunteers who helped.
Our next assignment is to help the Salvation Army prepare their holiday gift baskets. That will be Tuesday, December 22, beginning at 9:00AM at the Family Video building. Distribution begins about 10:30.

Debbie rounded up some members to take an Interclub trip to Carthage on Thursday. She is also planning to form an Interclub to Quincy in January. Kiwanis International President Paul Palazzolo will be visiting the Quincy Noon Kiwanis Club on January 18. They are planning for a large crowd, so we need to let them know before Jan 11th who from our club will be attending. Click here to see the invitation.
